Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging
The purpose of the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging department is to provide overall leadership, accountability and vision to the Chemeketa community in creating and sustaining an environment that prioritizes the college mission and values.
Chemeketa aspires to be a place where everyone feels a sense of belonging and where diverse ways of being are celebrated. Everyone is unique and contributes to what makes Chemeketa a special place to work, learn, and grow.
The Office for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEIB) provides overall leadership, accountability and vision to the Chemeketa community in creating and sustaining an environment that prioritizes our college values while upholding the access, opportunity, and justice mission of community colleges.
