CIS Summer Support
With the creation of Future Ready Oregon, Chemeketa is now offering CIS Student Support to help offset your program-related expenses for the Summer 2026 term.
Chemeketa's Computer Information Systems (CIS) program supports students building skills for careers in the technology field.
For Summer 2026, a limited funding opportunity is available to support eligible CIS students through Future Ready Oregon.
Space is limited and selection may follow program priorities and funding guidelines.
Important Dates
- Summer Term: Begins Monday, June 22, 2026
- Interest Form Deadline: Friday, May 22, 2026
- Application Deadline: Monday, June 1, 2026 (for approved students)
Eligibility Requirements
Students must meet the following criteria:
- Be a new or current CIS student
- Be declared in a CIS major
- Be enrolled or planning to enroll in select Summer CIS courses
Program Benefits for CIS Students
CIS students may have access to support to help them succeed in their program, including:
- Tuition Assistance- Financial support available up to the full amount of tuition
- Loaner Laptops- Limited availability for CIS students needing a device
- Study Groups & Resources- Collaborative spaces with laptop access, light snacks, and opportunities to connect with fellow CIS students
Additional support may include academic help, technology access, and financial guidance.

How It Works
- Register for Summer CIS courses and ensure you are declared as a CIS major
- Submit the interest form by May 22, 2026
- Eligible students will be contacted with next steps
