MWEC Training

MWEC (Mid-Willamette Education Consortium) provides funding through the Perkins grant to support qualified CTE educators in accessing Professional Development opportunities, aimed at enhancing Career and Technical Education programs and services.

MWEC Professional Development Opportunities

MWEC provides a variety of professional development opportunities for educators throughout the year. The focus for the Perkins Reserve Grant is for secondary and postsecondary institutions to strengthen all aspects of CTE Program of Study pathways with special attention to promoting and expanding career exploration and guidance and equitable work-based learning opportunities.

Process

If you are from a MWEC school, have a Perkins-approved program of study, and wish to submit a professional development request, please enter it through our professional development database.

If you are Chemeketa Faculty in a Perkins Approved Program, funds are available for professional development. You must submit a  and review with your supervisor. Your supervisor will submit to MWEC and then you can enter your professional development request in the .

  • MWEC Rally

    The 2025 MWEC Rally will be held on October 21, 2025 at the Salem Convention Center in Salem, Oregon. This is an all day event, please save the date.

    If you are an MWEC teacher, counselor or administrator and are interested in attending a conference, please submit a professional development request online at mwec.wesd.org
